Admissions
Criteria
The E.Y.E.S. System Coordinator will make an acceptance determination
within one hour following the initial contact. Youth will be accepted
into the E.Y.E.S. program based on bed availability and the following
criteria:
- Youth
must be age 7-17.
- Youth
must have a documented DSM-IV diagnosis of mental retardation
or developmental disability.
- Youth
must be in need of out-of-home placement due to a crisis.
- Youth
referred must not present an immediate danger to themselves or
others.
- Youth
with a history of sexual offending or arson will be accepted on
a case-by-case basis.
