Referral Process

All referrals will be made directly to the Case Management/Crisis Service Coordinator (CMCSC) with the Office of Behavioral Health/Developmental Disabilities Division, who can be contacted at 304-558-3634. Once the referral has been screened, the CMCSC will then contact the E.Y.E.S. Program System Coordinator with the referral.

The System Coordinator will contact the referring entity to complete the referral process to the E.Y.E.S. Program. Once the information is received, the System Coordinator will inform the CMCSC of the status of the referral.

For all referrals after business hours, weekends, and holidays, the referring agency will contact the Prestera Center hotline at 1-800-642-3434. The System Coordinator will accept the referrals, monitor the movement of the youth, and ensure appropriate discharge planning.

E.Y.E.S. Services Provided
Services provided while a child is at an E.Y.E.S. Shelter will include, but not be limited to:

  • Individual Counseling
  • Group Counseling
  • Basic Living Skills Development
  • Appropriate Educational Programming
  • Access to Medical Treatment
  • Recreational Opportunities
